I wanted to design an online portfolio for myself for a couple reasons. One, I enjoy
working with Photoshop and HTML/CSS. Two, I know that the internet is an excellent tool to
market just about anything. So here I am, marketing myself.
This site was designed in Notepad++ using CSS version 2.1, HTML 4.01 Strict, and bits of JavaScript.
Those are the only three programming languages I command at the moment, but I am constantly learning more.

Welcome to my portfolio!
The Longest Autobiography
(I will probably ever write).
To start, I graduated from Chippewa Valley Technical College with an Associate's degree in Marketing
in May 2009. The program has an internship course fourth semester, and I asked after a marketing
position at the company I had been working for.
I was promoted to act as the "one man marketing show" for a small chain of convenience stores, and I took a lot from the experience. Mentions of my work there can be found in the portfolio, and gallery. A website I designed for the business (but never had the opportunity to market), is still online at www.bridgestop.com.
That brings us to now, the present, and the future. For now, I'm going to continue developing my knowledge of graphic design and web development, and hopefully pick up a client or two along the way. In five years I see myself working in a position with opportunity for growth, for a company that believes employee and customer satisfaction to be synonymous with success.

Illustration in Photoshop
This is the second piece of vector art I have created using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Its not
technically a "true" vector, like what you could produce with Illustrator, but it is a very close substitute.
Brand logos are almost exclusively vector art, because this particular type of graphic can be enlarged to the size of a billboard, or shrunk to the diameter of a penny without distortion
If you are interested in having me illustrate a custom logo or business card please drop by my contact form here to leave a message.
